Actress Isla Fisher Does A ‘Melania Trump’ (VIDEO)

Australian actress, Isla Fisher won a Trailblazer award at the AACTA awards in Sydney last night. In her acceptance speech, in a very serious tone she said these words:

“From a young age my parents impressed on me the values that you work hard for what you want in this life, that your word is your bond, you say what you want to do and you keep your promises, that you treat people with respect, those are actually Michelle Obama’s words, but I figured if Melania Trump can use them and have success, I should try,”

Showing comedy timing is something she shares with her very talented husband Sacha Baron Cohen, Isla also joked about President Elect Donald Trump with:

“I do need to thank Trump. I don’t think I’d be here if it weren’t for him showing the world that unqualified orange people can win things.”

Funnily enough, Isla is too modest. The 40 year-old has over twenty years of experience in acting. Donald Trump is the first president of the United States who has never served any time in politics or the military. This makes Isla way more experienced and qualified in her field.

During Trump’s appearance at the Republican Convention this year, Melania gave a speech that was almost identical to the one Michelle Obama delivered in 2008, when her husband Barack was running for president. While it is all quite funny and even Donald Trump himself has joked about it, the disturbing side is we don’t know what Melania really believes in.

While Michelle Obama promoted getting America moving, she obviously wanted to address the problem of obesity. Michelle dedicated her time to many genuine and worthy causes as First Lady. By copying Michelle’s speech, it just makes us all wonder what Melania Trump actually stands for and what kind of First Lady she will be.

Here is Melania’s rendition of Michelle Obama’s speech:
