Very Hot Water: Trump ‘Furious’ Over Conway’s Remarks About Romney (VIDEO)

It now appears that open warfare has broken out inside the Trump transition team. And it all began on Sunday when campaign manager Kellyanne Conway went on some of the Sunday news shows and criticized Mitt Romney, who is being considered for the post of Secretary of State. Conway had this to say about Romney:

“We don’t even know if Mitt Romney voted for Donald Trump.

“I think there are concerns that those of us that are loyal have, and we want a secretary of State who’s loyal to the president.

“Gov. Romney, in the last four years, has he been around the globe doing something on behalf of the United States of which we’re unaware?”

This morning, there are reports that the President-elect is “furious” about Conway’s comments, with a top transition aide telling MSNBC that Conway is “pushing her own agenda” and “it’s dangerous.”

Adding fuel to the fire, Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough said this morning:

“Kellyanne doesn’t have a job yet [within the Trump administration] and she’s angry about that. She hasn’t been offered the job she wants. And so she’s striking out. She’s not in any of the meetings where these decisions are being made and she’s angry about that, but at the same time, you don’t go out and attack the vice president-elect because you’re mad at Reince Priebus.”

Minutes after Scarborough made those comments, Conway contacted a producer of the show:

How ironic! Conway repeatedly accused Hillary Clinton of playing the “woman card” during the course of the election, and now when someone dares to criticize her, they’re “sexist.” Since when is reporting the news or having an opinion sexist, Kellyanne? Is that only the case when you don’t get your way and realize your influence with the boss is on the wane?

It’s becoming very clear that the Trump transition is exactly what we predicted it would be: a gigantic clusterf*ck.
