Trump Asked Fabio, Other Thanksgiving Guests, Who Should Be Secretary Of State

When you think of experts on foreign policy, does the name Fabio immediately come to mind? No? Well that’s one of the people our completely clueless President-elect sought guidance from on Thanksgiving regarding who he should name as his Secretary of State.

The New York Post reports that a source who was at the Thanksgiving party Donald Trump held at his Florida estate, Mar-a-Lago, says Trump queried Fabio, boxing promoter Don King, interior designer William Eubanks, and Newsmax.com chairman Christopher Ruddy as to who would be the best choice as America’s top diplomat, Mitt Romney or Rudy Giuliani. That same source also said:

“Donald was walking around asking everybody he could about who should be his secretary of state. There was a lot of criticism about Romney, and a lot of people like Rudy. There are also many people advocating for [former US ambassador to the UN] John Bolton.”

Welcome to Trumpworld, where people who don’t know the first thing about anything other than what color wallpaper to use or how to best condition one’s hair are suddenly involved in making life or death decisions. We can expect much more of this in the years ahead.

Perhaps WWE wrestling stars can advise the President-elect on who would make the best Defense Secretary. And shouldn’t Richard Dean Anderson, aka MacGyver, be consulted on the choice for CIA Director and Director of National Intelligence? Also, chef Paula Deen can help decide the most qualified candidate for Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. And she can bake one hell of a banana pudding to boot!

Time for us all to face facts: We have a complete moron as our incoming president. The man is intellectually incurious and thinks his equally dense friends are good advisors. We are so screwed.
