Banker Gets Fired After Racist, Obama-Bashing Facebook Rant (VIDEO)

“I voted him in. I like him. He has a beautiful wife unlike the ugly and embarrassing woman, (for lack of a better word), in the White House now. Ms. Trump’s foot would make Michele O’Bama a Sunday face.”

That’s how June Pridmore began the Facebook post that got her fired from a cushy banker job.

Pridmore used to be a Senior Vice President of Loan Operations at Regions Bank. It’s a pretty big bank, with the company centered in Birmingham (where it was founded) and stretching west to Dallas, east to Miami, and north to Indianapolis.

Overall, there are well over a thousand Regions branch locations. A senior VP position at a bank like that is a pretty good gig. Too bad for Pridmore.

In the post, Pridmore also wrote that the Ivy League-educated multimillionaire lawyers Barack and Michelle Obama don’t have a lot of money, which led to them using the presidency to support their families:

“I’m certainly glad he has a lot of money because she he won’t be bought out by like Barrack, socialist Muslim O’Bama or his wife or the host of relatives they have in the whitehouse for US to support.”

The “O’Bama-hater” went on to say she:

“…Prefer[s] a man who can buy Michele and Barrack and sell them several times over.”

That is some pretty unfortunate phrasing given the history of this country.

After the post went viral, Regions Bank spokesperson Jeremy King made the following statement about the now former banker:

“We appreciate the concerns shared about offensive social media comments that were made through an associate’s personal Facebook account. We want you to know that we share those concerns. Those comments do not reflect our values as a company or the way we do business. The associate is no longer an employee of the company.”
