VIDEO PROOF: Trump Team Lying About No Muslim Registry

Jason Miller, the Communications Director for President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team, claimed that Trump never advocated for a registry that would track individuals, mainly Muslims, based on their religious preference.

Now, if you paid ANY attention to the last year of the presidential race you will know that Trump absolutely called for a registry, but we don’t have to take each other’s word on that fact because there are numerous recordings providing proof that he did. Miller stated:

“President-elect Trump has never advocated for any registry or system that tracks individuals based on their religion, and to imply otherwise is completely false. The national registry of foreign visitors from countries with high terrorism activity that was in place during the Bush and Obama administrations gave intelligence and law enforcement communities additional tools to keep our country safe, but the president-elect plans on releasing his own vetting policies after he is sworn in.”

Like so many others in Trump’s campaign, Miller is stating a complete lie to the public and frankly insinuating that we are all idiots and will believe anything, even if the truth is blaring in our faces. However, seeing that Trump is no longer a nominee and is now the elect, Miller just might have a handle on a good portion of this country.

On November 15th in Newton, Iowa a reporter for NBC News asked Donald Trump if he would implement a required database for Muslims and Trump replied:

“I would certainly implement that. Absolutely.”

The reporter followed that response up with a question on whether all Muslims would be required to sign in to this registry and Trump stated:

“They have to be. There should be a lot of systems, beyond databases, we should have a lot of systems.”

Kris Kobach, the Kansas Secretary of State and anti-immigration hard nose advising Trump’s transition team, made a statement that backed all of this up by telling reporters Donald Trump would be considering a Muslim immigrant registry almost immediately.

We don’t have to go on and on about the Jewish community and Nazi Germany to understand that forcing someone to register based on religion is a dangerous path to start down. Michael Keegan, President of People For The American Way, talked about Japanese internment camps saying:

“The internment of Japanese-Americans during the second world war is an ugly stain on our nation’s history. Republicans at every level should rush to condemn any hint that we’d repeat that mistake by targeting Muslims or any other minority group. To be clear: Donald Trump’s campaign promise to create a registry of Muslims is unconstitutional and un-American.”

What it all boils down to is this ongoing racist and xenophobic attitude that Trump and his gang have brought forward is infecting this country to the point where fear is driving hate and hate is driving a replay of the last hundred years of atrocities
