Liars tell lies. It’s what they do. And no one tells more lies than President-elect Donald Trump, who tells three lies for every breath of oxygen he takes.
The latest blatant lie comes to us from Trump on Twitter, where he posted this:
I worked hard with Bill Ford to keep the Lincoln plant in Kentucky. I owed it to the great State of Kentucky for their confidence in me!

One tiny problem (almost as tiny as the baby hands on Trump): Ford was never planning to move the plant to Mexico. They had considered moving it to another location in the United States, but as a spokesperson for Ford noted:
“Today, we confirmed with the president-elect that our small Lincoln utility vehicle made at the Louisville Assembly Plant will stay in Kentucky. We are encouraged that President-elect Trump and the new Congress will pursue policies that will improve U.S. competitiveness and make it possible to keep production of this vehicle here in the United States.”
Follow-up question: Ford was never going to close the plant? Again, directly from Ford:
“No plans to close plants. This was about moving production of MKC out of Louisville Assembly Plant. That same plant also makes Ford Escape.”
So in other words, Donald J. Trump, the next President of the United States, just told a lie about a company he will now be able to oversee with various government agencies. Does that mean that if Ford actually does move a plant to another location Trump will retaliate against them? Does he understand that he has no power to impose tariffs or other punitive measures without the approval of Congress? It seems doubtful he does know that because he knows so damn little about anything other than how to grab women by the genitals and get away with it.
Get used to the lies, America, because this asshat has a million of them. The most frightening one he told is when he said he was qualified to be President. This moron isn’t even qualified to rake leaves.
