Looks like Don the Con’s fans are not so happy now that they know he conned them, too.
In an interview President-elect Trump gave to the Wall Street Journal, he backed away from his campaign promise to repeal the Affordable Care Act (ACA), also known as Obamacare, saying that he had spoken with President Obama and this was his current position:
“Either Obamacare will be amended, or repealed and replaced. I told him I will look at his suggestions, and out of respect, I will do that.”
Just the fact that Trump wants to keep certain provisions of the current health insurance law–portability, coverage for preexisting conditions–means that a wholesale scrapping of the ACA is now unlikely. But Trump’s comments set off a firestorm of right-wing whining and moaning on Twitter:

Can you imagine how angry these people are going to be when Trump doesn’t build a wall, deport millions, or ban all Muslims? Trump will say anything to anyone in order to further advance himself. He’s a snake oil salesman and these rubes were in the market for someone who would lie and assure them everything was gonna be fine if they’d just make him President. Now they see the real Donald Trump–the liar, the con man, the backstabber–and they cannot fathom how this happened. But if they want to know who to blame for the destruction Trump will cause over the next four years, all they have to do is go look in the mirror.
