KKK Group Targeting Non-Trump Voters With Threatening Flyers (VIDEO)

A KKK group calling themselves the Traditionalist American Knights is reportedly targeting households in rural Kentucky with threatening flyers. The flyers warn those reading them that they are in ‘KKK country’ and to be ‘Beware.’

And it seems that they are paying particular attention to those residents who are less than enthusiastic in their support of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

Yesterday afternoon Glamour contributor Krystal Ball tweeted:

Although too early to confirm the authenticity of the claims coming out of Kentucky, one thing is undeniable — such actions are very much in keeping with prior KKK methods of intimidation.

Disinformation And Intimidation

The KKK’s links to the Trump campaign are well-documented. Earlier this month they stopped just short of officially endorsing the GOP’s great orange hope. Trump has hired known anti-Semite and former head of the Breitbart network Steve Bannon to be is his campaign CEO. And former KKK grand wizard and current enthusiastic Trump supporter David Duke recently called for Hillary Clinton’s execution.

Meanwhile the Huffington Post reported last week that the Klan had ramped up its efforts to get Trump into the White House by distributing leaflets across Alabama, Georgia, Kansas, and Louisiana.

Flyers recovered in Alabama similar in tone to the ones distributed in Kentucky read:

“Please join and help us take our country back. Black Lives Matter Black Panthers are telling followers to kill white people and police officers in the name of justice for the killing of Negro’s [sic] by policemen in the line of duty. These Negro’s [sic] were not innocent. They were thugs breaking the law, and standing up against police.”

Further north, residents in Pennsylvania — a state that Trump needs to win if he is to have a shot at winning today’s election —  have been complaining of KKK intimidation tactics since mid-September.

Indeed, the flyers seemed to be showing up all over the place:

And Kentucky is certainly no stranger to such tactics.

On September 14 WKYT reported that the hundreds of flyers with messages asking people to join the Ku Klux Klan were recently distributed around Harrodsburg had both:

“… Concerned and offended many residents.”

The local police responded by sharing a message in Facebook that read simply:

“We do not appreciate you introducing your hate into our community.”

The Real War On Terror

Today, such activities, though disturbing, have to take a back seat to the important task of ensuring the KKK do not see their man elected. These people have to be stopped.

With indications that Trump is unequal to the pressure of campaigning, let alone the rigors of office, and signs of early voting victories in New Hampshire, one thing remains imperative.

We all need to get out and vote.

And vote Blue when we do.
