After a now rare occasion where Melania Trump makes an appearance on the campaign trail, former President Bill Clinton during his campaign speech hilariously trolled her for her ridiculous new fight against cyber-bullying.
Bill Clinton, though he has aged, has not lost that light quality about him when making speeches. He chuckled as he stated:
“Yesterday I never felt so bad for anybody in my life as I did for his (Trump) wife. Giving a speech saying ‘Oh, cyber-bullying is a terrible thing.’ I thought yea especially if it’s done at three o’clock in the morning against the former Miss Universe by a guy running for President!”
The crowd laughed, and Clinton smirked as he expressed his irritation with Melania’s statements. He continued by saying:
“I mean, if none of this was real, you couldn’t make it up. The problem is we’re all laughing, but it isn’t funny because people’s lives are gonna be changing.”
We can give it Melania, she has absolutely stuck by her man through this incredibly tumultuous season but whoever is advising her on what issues she should be tackling might need to find a new job. After so much flack from the media has been thrown at Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump for his late night tweeting and constant cyber-bullying of women, you would think Melania might choose something else to focus on other than that.
But hey just go ahead and add to the continued flow of hypocrisy that runs from Trump’s campaign. From his two-year switch from open borders to closed borders, his speeches about outsourcing American jobs while his daughter Ivanka uses sweatshops in China, to his stand on illegal immigration while his wife secretly took paying jobs before she was awarded her work visa, it would only make sense that Melania join the hypocrisy train as well.
We may not know exactly where Trump’s platform actually sticks, but we do know that a lying, hypocritical, sexist is not someone we want lurking around the White House or late night tweeting for that matter.
