Obama Sings ‘Purple Rain’ To Kid Dressed As Prince At White House Halloween (VIDEO)

President Obama is doing his very best to ensure we all miss him terribly when he and the first family depart the White House at the end of his second term in office.

His fantastic sense of self-deprecating humor, his astonishing intellect, his calm demeanor, and his unwavering commitment to his family are just a handful of the traits that the President has displayed many times throughout his tenure. However, it seems that now with the pressure off, President Obama is practically radiating these gemstones of his character.

Just one example of President Obama displaying his sense of uber-cool was on display Monday afternoon.

As children visited the White House for some trick-or-treating for the Obamas’ annual Halloween festivities, a Prince approached the President: The purple variety, not the royal.

Without hesitation, the President launched into a pretty darn good rendition of “Purple Rain.” So take a break from the bruising campaign that is taking place on the outside of the White House, and get your smile on!

Shun the 'transcendent' and all who invite you to subordinate or annihilate yourself...Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity. Seek out argument and disputation for their own sake; the grave will supply plenty of time for silence...” - Christopher Hitchens
