Retired Colonel MOCKS Trump’s Ignorance Of All Things Military (VIDEO)

Donald Trump has said on numerous occasions that he knows more about how to defeat the terrorist group ISIS “than the generals.” To hear the GOP nominee tell it, he alone is the man who can protect us all and keep us safe from harm. Yeah, because we’d all sleep better knowing that a narcissistic psychopath had access to the nuclear codes.

Ret. Army Col. Jeff McCausland appeared on CNN Tuesday morning and told host Chris Cuomo that while Trump has recently criticized American military planners for announcing the attack on ISIS strongholds in Mosul, such a strategy hasn’t caused previous operations to fail:

“By the spring of 1944, the Germans knew we were going to invade France. It didn’t take a genius. And they were, in fact, preparing beach defenses correspondingly.”

McCausland also said that Trump’s ridiculous statements that he would have seized the oil fields in Iraq after the American invasion prove he knows nothing about the issue:

“It used to be, back in the 15th Century, and before that back in feudal times, but in modern times with the advent of international law, that is no longer the case.”

Not only that, but to try and mount such an operation would be nearly impossible, McCausland added:

“How many soldiers would it take to secure the Iraqi oil fields? Does anyone really imagine that the Iraqi population of 26 million people are going to stand idly by while their country is being looted of the only major resource they have? And even if you can secure those oil fields, notwithstanding how many casualties you’re going to take, how many additional troops is it going to take to secure the oil pipelines, so you can get that oil to some place that’s going to be exported?”

Trump thinks because he attended a military boarding school that qualifies him to be Commander-in-Chief. But a man as fundamentally unstable as he is isn’t fit to herd cattle, let alone give orders to the most powerful fighting force on the face of the planet.
