The Fall 2016 edition of the Ku Klux Klan’s quarterly newspaper is out. While they stopped short of technically endorsing Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, well … read for yourself.
KKK Newspaper Props Up Trump All The Way
The story here is not just Trump’s mug and slogan as front page news in the KKK’s quarterly. If you take the time to read through all 12 pages of their drivel, you’ll see an organization that is very much in favor of a Trump presidency, even if they never actually come out and say it.
In fact, buried back on page 11 is a little article entitled “Trump Candidacy Moving Dialogue Forward.”
In it, the author writes:
“… If Trump truly resonates with a pro white [sic] movement arising in the United States, and if he does mirror the Klan in any of his statement, it is because many white people feel the attack upon traditional America and Trump understands this.”
Remember that when Klansmen talk about “traditional America,” they mean White people. White, heterosexual, Protestant people, to be even more precise.
Paper Is Filled With Vocal Trump Supporters
Peppered throughout the paper are references to and pictures of many people who’ve shown support for Trump, including:
- David Duke, a well-known white supremacist who recently said Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton should be executed and who said “Of course” Trump voters are his voters;
- Don Black, the founder of the neo-Nazi website Stormfront, who credits Trump with helping his website grow;
- Rachel Pendergraft, the national organizer for the Knights Party, who said “Trump’s candidacy [has] electrified some members of the movement.”;
- William Johnson, who just today made the news with his disgusting robocall urging Utah voters to ditch Evan McMullin in favor of Trump; and
- Pastor Thomas Robb, National Director (aka Grand Wizard) of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan and editor-in-chief of the Crusader, who said “Trump is espousing the ideals we’ve been promoting for years.”
If you support Trump, you’re supporting these ideals. These people’s lives revolve around white supremacy, and they’re clamoring for a Trump presidency.
Vote on November 8, and vote blue.
