WATCH Bill O’Reilly Get SLAPPED DOWN On-Air By A Washington Post Reporter

Bill O’Reilly is an arrogant, opinionated jackass who pretends to be an expert on every topic. But last night on his show, he got his head handed to him by a columnist for the Washington Post for being one of Donald Trump’s biggest media cheerleaders.

O’Reilly took great offense at a line in a column by Jennifer Rubin, who wrote last week:

“Trump should do interviews with real news people, not Sean Hannity and Bill O’Reilly, in preparation for the debates. He’s otherwise in for a rude awakening when someone asks a real question.”

The Fox News host said Rubin was incorrect, but she fired back at him with this:

“My criticism is really that you actually are in the spin zone. It’s presented as a news program or pseudo-news program… parroting a lot of what Trump is saying to you.”

O’Reilly loves to proclaim that his show is a designated “no spin zone,” but if you’ve ever watched the bloviating gas bag, you know he does indeed kiss the butt of any Republican who appears as a guest.

Rubin also carefully laid out one example after another of times when O’Reilly had backed outrageous statements by Trump and attempted to normalize the GOP nominee’s outrageous behavior. Rubin added that O’Reilly had even made numerous excuses for Trump’s oft-repeated refrain of “lock her up” when referring to Hillary Clinton. As you would expect, O’Reilly denied he was the least bit guilty. But is he?

Here’s O’Reilly commenting on Trump’s assertion at the second debate that if he becomes President, Clinton would be in jail:

“Number one, he has to play to a certain voter. All right? Who does believe that Mrs. Clinton got away with a national security violation that no one else would have gotten away with. Millions and millions of those voters out there. So, yes. You’re right. He can’t put anybody in jail if he’s president. You can’t just sign an executive order was it incarcerated, but certainly he would have the power to his Justice Department would to reopen an investigation that the government deemed to be not credible. He does have the power to do that and I wasn’t offended by that so much in the sense that I knew it was a quip off the top of his head which, you know, and I think it helped him. I really believe that helped him.”

No wonder O’Reilly is such a big fan of the Donald. They’re both bullies and pathological liars. Oh, and they’re both wrong about nearly everything.
