Fox News Touts Disgraced Author’s ‘Clinton’s On Drugs’ Theory As Fact (VIDEO)

Fox News is beside themselves. They know the Republicans are going to take a beating in two weeks, and they’re grasping at any straw they see. The latest? Claiming that Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is on drugs.

It’s Tin Foil Hat Time

Discredited smut peddler Ed Klein appeared on Fox & Friends this morning to push a conspiracy theory about Clinton. According to Klein, he has a “source” inside the White House that tells him Clinton is on drugs.

Klein’s “source” tells him that Clinton was at the White House and had a coughing fit, prompting President Barack Obama to call his doctor. The “source” then tells Klein that the president, the first lady, and an unnamed guest began discussing Clinton’s health and they decided:

“She must be on some sort of booster drug.”

So Ed Klein — a man whose work has been denounced time and time again, a man even Rush freaking Limbaugh found to be unbelievable — gets a national platform on Fox News to put words into the Obamas’ mouths.

This can only be described as utter desperation the part of the network.

Host Steve Doocy closed the segment with:

“Another exclusive — hadn’t heard that anywhere.”

Yea, there’s a reason for that, Doocy. Because you work for the only outlet that will listen to that nutjob.
