POWERFUL Letter From Man Following Attack From Trump Supporter

The Boston Globe recently published a powerful letter written by a citizen of Middleton Massachusetts who came forward to, both talk about his experiences with Trump bullies, and to urge officials to watch for voter coercion at the polls.

Craig Stanley of Middleton, MA wrote to the Globe to put forth his concerns of both safety and citizen rights during this tumultuous election season. Stanley talked about his most recent brush with a Trump supporter stating:

“I am a 67-year-old white man. I have a small Bernie Sanders sticker on my car, with an even smaller Hillary Clinton sticker right above it. The other day, I was stopped at a red light on Route 114 in Middleton. A young white man wearing a Trump T-shirt pulled up alongside me, honked his horn, and stuck his chest out menacingly, pointing to his shirt and yelling obscenities at me.”

This bully mentality is not anything new and stories have rushed through the internet like wildfire describing instances where Trump fans have tried to use brawn instead of the brain to force people into voting for The Donald. Just perusing different Facebook groups and reading comments you can tell who is a Trump supporter and who isn’t.

Apparently, due to Trump’s constant feeling of entitled masculinity and his showing of using threats as a political standpoint, Trump supporters are jumping on his lead and using statements such as “Hillary supporters will go to hell,” and “We should dispose of all non-Trump fans when he wins.” Stanley continued his letter by writing:

“It was scary. I felt threatened just for having Sanders and Clinton stickers on my car. My wife urged me to remove the stickers, but I refuse to be kept from expressing my political beliefs, even if my car gets vandalized.”

This statement should ring true to anyone not jumping on the racist, sexist, and neanderthal based campaign strategy of Donald Trump. If we are to live the free and complete lives that we are fighting so hard for we cannot give in to intimidation from the low brow, brainwashed, bullies running through the streets screaming their bro love for Donald Trump. Stanley continued by urging local officials to stand up and do something about these archaic tactics being used.

“This happened in Massachusetts. I can just imagine what may go on in some of the red states of our country, especially those with a lot of gun-packing citizens. The reason I write this letter is to urge police departments across our country to be on the lookout for intimidation at the polls. It will be an end to our democracy if one political party is in fear of voting because of threats of assault from the other party.”

Be strong and be prepared this November 8th because the stakes are high and when you mix emotion, politics, and idiots together, the result is intimidation that often leads to violence.
