The animosity between candidates, Democrat and Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton and Republican candidate Donald Trump, has divided yet another family. This time it is Hollywood family, the Baldwins.
Alec Baldwin has been highly praised for his brilliant impression of Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live. However, his brother Stephen Baldwin is not one of his fans. Alec and Stephen are brothers and yet seem to have very different political views. Stephen Baldwin appeared in two series of The Celebrity Apprentice and during which time, he has obviously become quite friendly with the billionaire. So much so, that he is now defending Trump and calling the SNL impressions from his brother “nasty” which is another word Trump chose to describe Hillary in the final debate.
After Wednesday’s head to head, CNBC interviewed Stephen Baldwin and when asked about his brother’s impression of Trump, he said
“I don’t want to be a party pooper here, but I don’t think it’s very funny”
This statement echoed Donald Trump’s previous tweet about the show
Watched Saturday Night Live hit job on me.Time to retire the boring and unfunny show. Alec Baldwin portrayal stinks. Media rigging election!

While showing he has no sense of humor, when it comes to himself, Donald Trump has a huge ego. If the debates have shown anything, they have shown that he is a man of absolute narcissism. He solemnly believes that he is so great that the world, election, system, even the Emmys are rigged against him. There is a deep insecurity here. Again, the man-child strikes and that is someone who cannot listen to any argument or criticism aimed at him, without then resorting to calling his opponent, in this case, Clinton, a “nasty woman“.
Liberal America has previously reported on other family divides caused by this election, such as Happy Days cast members, Scott Baio and Ron Howard, who also have strong opposing views.
It appears that while Alec Baldwin is definitely with her, his little brother Stephen Baldwin, is in fact staunchly with him. As for Billy Baldwin, he just created a Twitter account and he has made his opinion clear with this tweet
Not one to "pile on" on the playground… but kicking Trump as his campaign goes down in flames is not only fun but it kinda feels good too.
