The State Dept. Threatens Criminal Action Over Putin’s Latest Election Stunt

In an attempt to mock and embarrass the United States over Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump’s remarks on the rigging of the election, Russia and Vladimir Putin sought to send monitors to the U.S. for November 8th’s election.

The requests by the Russian government were quickly rebuffed by the State Department who threatened criminal action if monitors showed up on the scene. Russian input into the U.S. elections have become more than meddlesome, and U.S. Intelligence operatives place the blame on Russia and Vladimir Putin for the leak of alleged embarrassing emails between heads of the Democratic National Committee.

Though this request poses no real threat to the United States, the U.S. government isn’t taking any chances and promptly put down Louisiana Secretary of State, Tom Schedler, for allowing other foreign monitors at polling stations in the past.

There has been a long riding discussion on the involvement of Donald Trump with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, who has come forward endorsing Trump and threatening nuclear war if Democratic presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton, were to be elected. Trump denies all ties to Putin and still refuses to believe that Russia was behind any of the leaked emails that have recently surfaced.

Both Schedler and State Department Deputy Spokesperson, Mark Toner, are referring to this recent intrusion by Russia as a PR stunt and a propaganda ploy. It seems that the deplorable Donald Trump has the regrettable Vladimir Putin cheering him on all the way from Russia, something that doesn’t bode well for Trump during the current crisis happening in the world.

It’ll be interesting to see the moment when we finally have firm evidence of Trump’s interactions with the dictator across the sea.
