During a Clinton hating speech at a Delaware, OH rally, Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump, pledged to accept the election results…if he wins.
This snide statement comes after Trump has spent hours, even days, worth of time accusing the Democratic National Committee and Democratic presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton, of rigging the elections. Trump stated:
“I would like to promise and pledge to all of my voters and supporters and to all of the people of the United States that I will totally accept the results of this great and historic presidential election if I win.”
In his first comment since Wednesday’s final debate Trump held nothing back spewing disgusting rhetoric claiming the Clinton campaign was rigging the elections, inciting violence at Trump rallies, and then accused the DNC of releasing debate questions to Clinton ahead of time.
The Republican party fears that when Trump loses the election he will throw the country into post-election turmoil and though Trump isn’t promising anything, not that his promises mean much, he continued by saying:
“Of course I would accept a clear election result, but I would also reserve my right to contest or file a legal challenge in the case of a questionable result. I will follow and abide by all the rules and traditions of all of the many candidates who came before me, always.”
We all know that Trump is referring to his loss in the election when he says, “in the case of a questionable result,” though his loss would hardly be a controversial result. No one believes for a second that Trump will gracefully congratulate his opponent and step to the side.
Actions speak louder than words and Trump has done nothing but drag his party’s name through the mud with his vicious lies, racist and sexist comments, and history of sexually assaulting females due to his oversized ego.
I guess we will just have to see how huge Trump’s blow up is when Clinton takes the election.
