We all know that Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is screaming about voter fraud.
The loudmouthed candidate has claimed over and over again that the election is rigged. Both he and his campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, have called the entire American electoral system “corrupt.”
Trump has said that there is massive voter fraud happening all around the country. He claims that dead people are voting, and his pal Rudy Guiliani reminded us that dead folks “generally vote for Democrats.”
The Republican paranoia machine is warning that illegal immigrants and dangerous Muslim refugees are posing as legitimate voters in order to steal the election away from Donald Trump.
Of course, there has been absolutely no evidence to support any of these crazy accusations.
Now, however, we have a video that shows voter fraud in action. An actual event in which a cheater posed as a legitimate voter.
It was awful.
The culprit was caught, however, when a smart and brave citizen stepped forward to uncover the crime.
In the recently released video, we see the citizen at the polls. As he stands in line, eager to cast his vote for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, the man notices a suspicious man in front of him.
The citizen, named Homer Simpson, doesn’t much like the fact that the guy is wearing a Red Sox jersey. Worse, he hears the guy say that he’s a Trump supporter. The stranger likes Trump because he’s planning to build a wall to keep out beauty queens who eat too much.
Just as they reach the front of the line, Homer figures out that something is amiss. He rips off the guy’s mask and lo, and behold! It’s Vladimir Putin! The result of their interaction is unpredictable and very entertaining.
The short video is funny, for sure.
Except for the fact that it isn’t funny at all to realize that Trump and his minions think that this is the kind of stuff going on for real.
It isn’t funny to realize that most of them will see themselves as the Homer character when we’re all waiting to cast our votes.
Still, you deserve a break from all the nasty comments. Watch this and laugh.
