Trump’s College Newspaper Just Endorsed Hillary Clinton, SLAMMED Trump’s Lack Of ‘Dignity’ (VIDEO)

It’s been a rough month for Donald Trump. First the Republican presidential candidate’s own party abandoned him, and now his alma mater’s college newspaper is, too.

In a joint editorial released Tuesday, the Daily Pennsylvanian and Wellesley News Opinion endorsed Trump’s Democratic opponent, Hillary Clinton. The two college newspapers are run by students of the University of Pennsylvania and Wellesley College, where Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton graduated from, respectively. The editorial reads, in part:

“Clinton has proposed feasible policies that the Wellesley campus supports, including protections for immigrants, people of color, members of the LGBTQIA+ community and women. Throughout her career and her many years of public service, Clinton has exemplified the Wellesley motto, ‘Non Ministrari sed Ministrare,’ or ‘Not to be ministered unto, but to minister.’ She worked at the Children’s Defense Fund and has been a strong advocate for women’s rights throughout the world.”

Disowned

In other words, both Penn and Wellesley students think Clinton is a respectable, accomplished person. But they roundly criticize Trump, a 1968 graduate of Penn’s Wharton School, as an unlikable blowhard:

“Donald Trump has, in the past, brought up his education at the Wharton School to qualify his intelligence and capability; however, overall campus sentiment toward Trump remains negative, and he has been protested both at Penn’s campus and in the wider Penn community. … It is clear that Trump has failed to dignify the morals of his institution.”

‘You do not represent us’

This is not the first time Penn students have challenged Trump’s campaign. The editorial mentions an open letter to Donald Trump signed by over 3,800 Penn students and faculty who rejected his campaign’s hateful message. The letter was posted online in July and entitled “You do not represent us.”

“We, proud students, alumni, and faculty of Wharton, are outraged that an affiliation with our school is being used to legitimize prejudice and intolerance. Although we do not aim to make any political endorsements with this letter, we do express our unequivocal stance against the xenophobia, sexism, racism, and other forms of bigotry that you have actively and implicitly endorsed in your campaign.”

Trump’s fellow University of Pennsylvania graduate Noam Chomsky offered his opinion on Trump in an interview earlier this year:
