‘You’re So Vain’ Appears In A Political Ad For The First Time And It’s EPIC (VIDEO)

The character of Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump has been thoroughly examined during this campaign. However, the revelations keep coming. Even when an unsavory tape of the man speaking about women as objects emerges, it seems that it may not be the very worst thing we will discover about him.

Many people are extremely worried about the dangerous prospect of Trump winning the presidency. During the Republican debates, it was often said that Donald Trump was a narcissist. Carly Simon has, for the first time, lent her song “You’re So Vain” to a political ad, and the result is remarkable. The song is aimed at Donald Trump and it just works. It seems as if the song was written especially for him. The messages in the song are accompanied by footage of Trump that suit perfectly. For example, the following line is sung over pictures of his three wedding photos:

“And all the girls dreamed that they’d be your partner…”

There have been many rumors over the years about who the song was originally written about. Liberal America revealed that the second verse was about Warren Beatty. The other men are mere speculations and they include Mick Jagger and Simon’s ex-husband James Taylor. It is one thing for a rock star or an actor to be an ego-maniac, it is another matter when that person would have their finger on the button of a nuclear missile. Like Jeb Bush says in the video:

“We need someone with a service heart, not someone who is a narcissist.”

Remember we are electing someone to serve US, not someone who expects to be worshipped.

While the song was not originally written for Donald Trump, it could not suit him better. The arrogance and vanity of Trump is astounding. From buying portraits of himself to branding just about everything with his name, the message of this political ad is clear: a vote for Donald Trump is a vote for a vain, self-centered, man-child.
