A record number of Americans watched the second Presidential debate between Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton Republican nominee Donald Trump. And our TVs and the internet are exploding with 24/7 coverage of Donald Trump’s comments about and alleged inappropriate conduct against women. Not to mention Wikileaks, the email “scandal” and the other election talking points. We are less than a month away, people. It is almost over. How about something funny to help us get through?
For instance, plenty noticed that when Hillary moved around the stage to address the person that asked a question during the last debate, she had an orange shadow following her. In fact, it seemed almost like he was straight-up stalking her like an evil monster in a horror movie.
Composer Danny Elfman felt exactly the same way. So he added a little music to accompany footage of Trump following Clinton around during the night. Elfman said that:
“Watching Trump lurching behind Hillary during the debate felt a bit like a zombie movie… Like at any moment he was going to attack her, rip off her head, and eat her brains.”
So, he took advantage of his profession to add a little ambient music for the comedy website Funny or Die. He adds the perfect horror soundtrack that is chillingly accurate. They also have a Will.i.am (of the Black Eyed Peas) produced music video that hilariously slaughters Trump’s atrocious and unacceptable rhetoric towards women. I know it feels like there has been very little to laugh about during this election season, but a little levity to combat stupidity certainly helps.
It is October after all, only a few weeks until Halloween. Seems like the perfect time to be dealing with a creature such as Donald Trump.
