Nate Silver of FiveThiryEight tweeted a map of what the U.S. would look like if only men voted, referencing their “if only women voted” map.
Now, many of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s supporters are saying that women shouldn’t vote. The disgusting hashtag, #RepealThe19th, is trending amongst male Trump supporters.

The following are some of the disgusting comments. I don’t know how any woman can defend this nasty man, but some come from women even.

I can’t believe the amount of sexism in this one:

Also, who says “broads” anymore? We are not in a gangster movie, or the 1980s.
Luckily, many people came into the discussion to defend our rights. Both men and women drowned out the Trump supporters’ hatred with their own tweets.
Yes let's #repealthe19th amendment. But first let's repeal the 2nd amendment…
No? I forgot gun rights are more important than women. My b— Mikayla Lowe (@lowe_mikayla) October 13, 2016
Is #RepealThe19th how Trump plans to "make America great again"? I'll stay here in 2016 with my rights, thankYOU. pic.twitter.com/aZPCvx16dm

The reason they want to take away our rights is because Donald Trump’s sleazeball status has been proven. Last weekend, an audio recording from Access Hollywood in 2005 was leaked online. In it, you can hear Trump describing forcing himself on women.
The 19th Amendment was ratified in August of 1920. It reads:
“The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.”
“Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.”
Our ancestors fought long and hard to get us the right to vote. The first bill giving us this right was introduced in 1868. Those women would be ecstatic to see a woman running for president. We will all be excited when the first female president is inaugurated in January.
