Shepard Smith: Does ‘Almost Fascist’ Donald Trump Have Another Agenda? (VIDEO)

Fox News has been one of the biggest cheerleaders for Donald Trump since he first announced his intention to seek the GOP nomination in 2015. Fox host Sean Hannity, in particular, has even advised the Republican nominee and constantly seeks to portray Trump as a kind of American savior on his pathetic excuse of a show.

But now Fox News host Shepard Smith has come out and blasted Trump for remarks he made at the second debate on Sunday evening. In particular, Smith said last night he was disturbed by Trump’s promise to jail Hillary Clinton if elected:

“It might have been bordering on unconstitutional, maybe even something almost definitionally fascist. This, ‘If I get elected, I’m going to prosecute my political opponent,’ that’s never been done in the history of the United States.”

Smith then went on to say that it seems Trump isn’t actually trying to win the election, but is instead positioning himself for another venture:

“It’s all set up not as a guy who’s trying to win what’s left to get, but a guy who has another agenda.”

There have been repeated rumors that after the election, Trump has plans to create a media network which will cater to his base of supporters who are fond of conspiracy theories and believe the American economic system is rigged against them. Ousted Fox News CEO Roger Ailes might also be a part of the Trump network plan.

Donald Trump is a loser. He has repeated failed in his business ventures, is now behind by double digits in the latest polls, and his own words have implicated him as a sexual abuser of women. If indeed he does attempt launch a right-wing media venture after the election, you can expect that too will fail. For all his bluster and bragging, Donald Trump is nothing more than a con man who loves to waste other people’s money so he can live like a king.
