Moderator Anderson Cooper Attacked With Homophobic Slurs By Trump Fans (TWEETS/VIDEO)

On Sunday, we witnessed Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump performing just as badly as he did during the first debate. This event took place just two days after one of the worst scandals of Trump’s campaign. An unearthed audio clip from 2005 had Trump bragging about kissing and groping women without their permission.

Trump’s supporters are obviously sore losers. During and after the debate, they were tweeting nasty, homophobic things toward one of the moderators, CNN’s Anderson Cooper.

It is a big deal in LGBT acceptance that Anderson Cooper, an out gay man, was a moderator for a presidential debate.

Here is a sampling of some of the nasty things that were said:

Even before the debate, Donald Trump was talking about Anderson Cooper being a bad moderator.

Trump said:

“I don’t think Anderson Cooper should be a moderator because Anderson Cooper works for CNN, and over the last couple of days, I’ve seen how Anderson Cooper behaves.”

Trump acted like a kid before, during, and after the debate. He kept criticizing Cooper during the debate. Trump said:

“Why aren’t you bringing up the emails? I’d like to know, Anderson, why aren’t you bringing up the emails?”

Then, Trump whined and said that the debate was “three on one.” Anderson Cooper brought up the comments on the audio when he asked:

“You called what you said locker-room banter. You described kissing women without consent, grabbing their genitals. That is sexual assault. You bragged that you have sexually assaulted women. Do you understand that?”

Trump just dismissed it as “locker room talk.” Several athletes have come out and said that sexual assault is not “locker room talk.”

Here is a clip of Anderson Cooper asking the above question in the debate:
