Bill Clinton’s Heartfelt Message To Hillary On Their 41st Wedding Anniversary (TWEETS/VIDEO)

Former president Bill Clinton and Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton are celebrating their 41st wedding anniversary today. Bill Clinton took to Twitter and said:

She hasn’t replied to this yet. Obviously, she’s busier this year than she was last year. Here are the adorable tweets they shared last year:

Yes, we all know what Bill did during his administration, but they have still stayed together.

Bill proposed to her in 1973. He took her on vacation to England when she graduated law school. She said no the first time he proposed. She moved home to Arkansas to find work there. She didn’t have much luck, so she visited her family before leaving. On the way to the airport, she fell in love with a house she saw. Bill came and bought it for her hoping she would marry him. She said yes after that one. They were married in the living room of their new home on October 11, 1975.

In an interview in India, Bill talked about the 52-year pact that they made together. He said:

“We were married a very long time when she was always, in effect, deferring to my political career. I told her when she got elected to the Senate from New York that she’d given me 26 years, and so I intended to give her 26 years. Whatever she wanted to do was fine with me. If she wanted to know my opinion, I would tell her, but she had carte blanche to make whatever decisions she wanted, and tell me what I was supposed to do about it.”

What Are They Doing On Their Anniversary?

Even though it is their anniversary, the Clintons are still out hitting the campaign trail hard. They are both in Florida today, but doing rallies in different counties. He has done one speech today in Belle Glade. He will be doing two more today. Hillary is campaigning in Miami with former Vice President Al Gore.

Bill Clinton hardly even mentioned Trump. The mayor of Belle Glade, Steve Wilson said that the prospect of electing the first woman president should be enough to get people to vote.

We all need to get out and vote for the first woman president and the best choice for our country.
