OUTRAGEOUS: Group Attacks Sikh Man, Defaces Religion – ‘Cut His F***ing Hair’ (TWEET/VIDEO)

The ethnic and racial ignorance continues – a Sikh California native was attacked on September 25 around 9 p.m. local time by a group of white men. Maan Singh Khalsa wears a turban for religious purposes and to protect his long hair, as all Sikh men do.

While at a red light, a group of white male passengers pulled up next to Khalsa’s vehicle, threw a beer can at him, and started to verbally berate him.

It is alleged that one of the attackers yelled “cut his f*cking hair,” subsequently pulling Khalsa’s head out of his car window, removing his turban, and then proceeding to cut his hair with a knife.

Khalsa was left with several physical injuries, including a swollen eye, facial lacerations, dental damage, and a damaged finger that may need amputating.

Currently, two of the three men who attacked Khalsa were arrested after designating felony assault charges associated with the attack. These two men are named Dustin Albarado, 35, and Chase Little, 31. Little is from the Lamont, Texas and Albarado is from Louisiana. They’ve been released on bail.

Stop Touching Sikh People

Muslim Americans have been facing collateral damage from events that stem from terrorist attacks arising from Islamic hate groups. Apparently, some Americans are having a particularly difficult time of differentiating the normal, everyday American who may be Muslim, and the terrorists coming from nations that have been inundated with religious indoctrination, poverty, and socio-political strife.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations has recorded 78 attacks on mosques in the past couple of years, the highest since the council started monitoring in 2009.

Dedicated to ignorance and bigotry, many hate crimes have also been enacted on the Sikh community.

Why is this happening? It’s because bigoted people think they’re Muslim – when they obviously are not.

District Attorneys Are Unsure In Charging Attackers With A Hate Crime

Even though this is an obvious hate crime against humanity, Contra Costa County district attorneys may not even charge these attackers. The Sikh Coalition wrote a letter noting that targeting Khalsa for his turban is the same as attacking a Muslim for their hijab or a Jewish person for their yarmulke.

It’s gross, it’s ignorant, and it’s inhumane – do better, America.
