I’ve often wondered why anyone would listen to Howard Stern. The radio “shock jock” has made an entire career out of being sexist, outrageously vulgar and unapologetically lewd.
Naturally, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is a good buddy of Howard Stern. He has been a guest on Stern’s radio talk show more than twenty times over the years.
It was on Stern’s show that Trump stated his support for the Iraq war, a position which he nows denies having held. Stern has gotten the impulsive, sex-obsessed candidate to comment on beauty pageant candidates, on his own daughter’s body, and on his struggle to avoid STD’s.
Now we learn that Donald Trump talked to Howard Stern about the changes that pregnancy brought to his wife, Melania.
To be specific, and completely disgusting, Trump told Stern and his radio audience that when women get pregnant, they “just blow up.” This incredibly offensive conversation took place in 2005, just months after he bragged about sexually assaulting women for the fun of it.
The playboy candidate was on Stern’s show in December of 2005. He told the radio host that his wife had gotten very big. This observation didn’t stop him from obsessing about her sexuality, of course. As always, he wanted Stern to hear all about the super hot woman in his life. He said:
“Like a blimp — in the right places. In her case, the right places. I mean she really has become a monster — in all the right places. I mean monster in the most positive way. She has gotten very, very large — in all the right places.”
The word “disgusting” is far too innocent to describe this man’s behavior. The idea of any man thinking this way about a woman while she is carrying his child is abhorrent. The idea of him discussing her as if she was a side of beef is worse.
Talking about the mother of his child on a public radio show, calling her a blimp and a monster?
Reprehensible. Offensive. Horrific. Despicable.
I might need a dictionary to find a way to express how awful Donald Trump is to have spoken this way. I find him absolutely…deplorable.
