The sky is falling, ladies and gentlemen. I don’t know what to think anymore. Why? Because former Fox News host and right-wing blowhard Glenn Beck is considering voting for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
Really? Hillary Clinton?
OK, no. Not REALLY. He did say that the thought has crossed his mind, though.
As Beck told Vice News Tonight:
“It has crossed my mind… to vote for Hillary. It has crossed my mind. I think Donald Trump is so unstable, so dangerous, that it has crossed my mind.”
Beck immediately called Hillary Clinton “a horse of a different color” after making that statement. He won’t ACTUALLY vote for her. But I never thought I would hear him even consider it.
Beck, we should remember, is a man who is a full-on right-wing nut job.
Lest we forget his conspiracy theory, in which everything somehow led to the word … “oligarhy.” (Yes, he missed the “C” in that one, apparently because it didn’t fit.)
Oh, Glenn. Dear, misguided, nutty Glenn. Sometimes I miss you and your chalkboards of conspiracy.
He says at the end of the interview that he will be voting for Darrell Castle. If you just said to yourself, “Who?” you’re not alone. Beck does let us know that Castle is the Constitution Party candidate, though, so at least we don’t have to Google him. The reporter’s response?
“Darrell … Castle? He just got Glenn Beck’s endorsement?”
Indeed, he did.
Oh, and in case you were curious at all about Darrell Castle, here’s a quote from his acceptance speech that he loves so much, it’s at the top of his platform page:
“If God raised me up and made me President of the United States, what I told the states, what I told you I would do, I will do, or die trying. So help me God.”
OK, then.
