Our least favorite GOP Senator is back – making cold calls for The Donald! Former presidential candidate Ted Cruz famously refused to endorse the now Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump at the Republican National Convention. He told the GOP audience to “vote your conscience.”
Last month, Cruz changed his tune and is telling people to vote Republican.
Now, we can witness his humiliation. He was caught on film making cold calls for the Donald Trump campaign. He made a visit to the Fort Worth, Texas office for the Trump campaign this week.

The Texas Senator said:
“I’ve made the decision that on Election Day I’m going to vote for the Republican nominee. Like a whole lot of voters here in Texas and across the country, this was not an easy decision for me to arrive on.”
“A year ago, I stood onstage and promised to support the Republican nominee, whoever that was, and I am honoring my word. Although I have long had significant concerns with Donald, by any measure, Hillary Clinton would be an absolute disaster as president.”
“I’m working hard to keep Texas red, to defeat Hillary Clinton and also, critically, maintain the Republican majority in the Senate. That is my commitment, to do everything I can to keep a Republican majority in the Senate.”
I guess Ted Cruz has joined the Dark side. Trump spent the entire election calling him “Lyin’ Ted.” He must really hate Democrats and Hillary Clinton if he is willing to put up with the childish orange one.
He is supporting his campaign, but he won’t say if he thinks Trump would be fit to be president. Cruz said this in an interview:
“We are in a general election now. I don’t think it is productive for me to criticize the Republican nominee today.”
