Moronic Right Wingers Are Complaining About The Lapel Pin Tim Kaine Wore At The VP Debate

If you were watching the Vice Presidential debate last night and looked closely at what the two candidates were wearing, you would have easily spotted the typical American flag pin on the lapel of Mike Pence’s coat.

Tim Kaine was also wearing a flag pin, but it wasn’t the same as Pence’s, Instead, it was a pin worn by Blue Star families who have family members serving in the military. Kaine’s son is a Marine on active duty. But to read some of the posts from idiotic right-wing jerkweeds on social media, you’d think Senator Kaine had just declared allegiance to another country:

Others were certain it was a big conspiracy:

What kind of lapel pin is @timkaine wearing? It sure isn’t an American flag…#VPDebate

Is Kaine wearing a Japanese flag lapel pin? What is that? #VPDebate

@timkaine look at your lapel pin. Look at @MikePenceVP. @timkaine you’re wearing the wrong one because you’re for the wrong team. #VPDebate

#VPDebate what is on Kaine’s lapel pin? Doesn’t look like the US flag like Pence’s

Don’t you just love how conservatives jump to conclusions and assume the worst about those they disagree with? Just like Trump, they have to try and spin some bogus conspiracy theory. No doubt when Trump loses, that’ll be a conspiracy, too.
