Al Gore Joins The Race And Is Backing Hillary Clinton (VIDEO)

Former Vice President Al Gore is joining the race and backing the Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. The climate-change activist is going to be joining Clinton on the campaign trail.

CNN reported this after the vice presidential debate last night:

He ran for president in 2000 and lost to George W. Bush in the electoral college.

He served as vice president to Bill Clinton. The Clintons are trying to appeal to millennials who are very concerned about climate change. Many millennials are saying that they will vote for Jill Stein or Gary Johnson.

As a millennial, this is ridiculous. Gary Johnson is basically a Republican, and Jill Stein is crazy cakes. We must vote for Hillary Clinton because Donald Trump shouldn’t be anywhere near the Oval Office.

Al Gore wrote this in an email to the New York Times:

“I can assure you from personal experience that every vote counts. The stakes are high for so many Americans. So I will vote for Hillary Clinton and I strongly encourage others to vote for her as well.”

Gore tweeted his endorsement for Hillary Clinton back in July:

“I am not able to attend this year’s Democratic convention, but I will be voting for Hillary Clinton. Given her qualifications and experience — and given the significant challenges facing our nation and the world, including, especially, the global climate crisis, I encourage everyone else to do the same.”

The Washington Post reported:

“The decision by Gore to plunge into the campaign during the final weeks shows the extent to which Democrats remain concerned that Clinton has yet to connect with many millennials, some of whom are backing third-party candidates this year. The former vice president, a climate activist, will speak about not just Clinton’s plan to address global warming, but also the idea that voting for an independent presidential candidate could deliver the White House to Republicans in the same way that Ralph Nader’s candidacy helped undermine his presidential bid in 2000.”

Here is Gore himself talking about why he will vote for Hillary Clinton:
