Flaky Ron Paul Abandons Libertarians, Gary Johnson, Throws Support To Jill Stein (VIDEO)

Holy crow, what a presidential election we are having this year!

As if it isn’t bad enough that one of the major party candidates is a world famous reality TV star who is obsessed with sex and money, we also have two small party candidates who are stirring up the mix.

There have been all kinds of crazy endorsements this presidential election cycle, but the vast majority of those have been Republican leaders who are publicly supporting Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

Now the election waters have gotten even mirkier.

One time Libertarian presidential candidate Ron Paul has announced that he cannot in good conscience support this year’s Libertarian candidate, Gary Johnson. He told MSNBC on Monday that he doesn’t plan to vote for his party’s candidate this year.

In fact, Paul told the news outlet that he considers Green Party presidential candidate Dr. Jill Stein to be the best candidate in at least one important area. He said:

“She’s probably the best on foreign policy at the moment.”

The Libertarian Party holds firmly to the idea of a non-interventionist foreign policy. They believe in mutually beneficial trade, and in an absence of military aggression. Ron Paul doesn’t think that Gary Johnson represents those values. He said:

“On Gary Johnson, he does not come across with a crisp libertarian message. If you want to express yourself — I am voting for the non-aggressive principles that create the libertarian message. And that is, nobody can commit aggression. Individuals cannot, nor the government. Unfortunately, there’s not a crisp answer.”

The Libertarian candidate, Gary Johnson, recently made headlines for his complete lack of understanding of foreign affairs. He was asked to weigh in on the situation in Aleppo, Syria, but his response was idiotic. He asked,

“And what is Aleppo?”

Only a couple of weeks later, the candidate was asked by Chris Matthews, at a “Town Hall” event set up just for him, “Name a foreign leader that you admire.” Johnson couldn’t come up with a single name.

Ron Paul has said publicly that he is “disappointed with the performance of the Libertarian leaders.”

Yep. We get it. We don’t think much of them, either.
