Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has created quite the sh*tshow of a presidential campaign. Members of his party are jumping ship every day. Lots of Republican officials have abandoned their nominee.
It just keeps getting bigger. A new poll shows that 25 percent of federal employees are considering quitting if Donald Trump gets elected.
The poll was conducted by the Government Business Council, Government Executive Media Group’s research arm. It showed that 14 percent of federal employees would definitely consider quitting if Cheeto-Head gets elected. Another 11 percent said that they might consider it.
Of the Democrats in the group, 42 percent said they would consider leaving. Only 8 percent of the Republicans said they would leave.
Among all federal employees, 60 percent said they would be “embarrassed” to have Donald Trump be their boss.
According to a Trump supporting website:
“This will help make America great again on day 1… while getting rid of the most radical liberals from the Federal bureaucracy. That would include those liberals at the IRS who targeted tea party organizations.”
They are spinning this as a reason to vote for Trump. I’m not sure just how much of his Kool-Aid they’ve been drinking, but when that many people are saying they would quit their jobs because of him it’s pretty serious.
Trump’s supporters just don’t seem to be fazed by the extremely large amount of nasty things their candidate has said and done. They will defend him no matter what. It is somewhat frightening.
One group, call the “Trumpettes” has declared Trump to be their “God.”
One of them said:
“I think if he keeps on point and keep telling us what you’re going to do and keep talking positive the way you are, he’s going to win. We all feel the same way. We always have for years. So we finally have this god that’s gonna come down and help us all.”
We need to do everything we can to keep this man from being elected.
