Republican presidential nominee and sexist asshole Donald Trump made the cover of The New Yorker again. This time, it’s a lot prettier. The October 10 cover features art from Barry Blitt. It is in reference to Trump’s horrible treatment of former Miss Universe winner, Alicia Machado.

Hillary Clinton brought up his treatment of her during the presidential debate on Monday. The next morning, Trump doubled down on the sexism on Fox & Friends when he said:
“She was the winner, and she gained a massive amount of weight, and it was a real problem. We had a real problem with her.”
He told Bill O’Reilly:
“I will bet you if you put up and added up all the time I spoke to her, probably less than five minutes. I had nothing to do with this person, but they wanted to fire her. I saved her job because I said that’s what I was going to do. Look what happened? Look what I get out of it? I get nothing.”
A spokesperson for The New Yorker said:
“Watching the debate, Blitt recognized a significant moment in the Presidential campaign. Of all Trump’s dangerous beliefs, Blitt said, his misogyny ‘might just be his Achilles’ heel.’”
Machado was the first winner of the pageant after Trump bought the show. He humiliated her so badly that she was in therapy for a while. After she won, she put on a few pounds, so Trump started calling her “Miss Piggy.” He even brought in a camera crew to film her working out. He said she gained 50 pounds when it was really only 15 pounds. Now, Machado has become an American citizen, and I hope she votes on November 8.

I hope Trump feels a little bit embarrassed at this cover, but I don’t think he has any shame.
