NEW: Trump Handlers Desperately Trying To Keep Him Quiet (VIDEO)

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has had plenty to say on Twitter recently. He’s been up in the wee hours indulging his rage and frustration.

We only have (Thank you, Lord) about a month of campaigning left, so he’s been at a lot of rallies, but always with a script.

He has suddenly stopped giving press conferences. He’s also given up his nearly constant appearances on the news shows.

In fact, RawStory reports that Trump has not given a single press conference since July 27th.

So why has Donald Trump virtually disappeared from the airwaves?

Perhaps because every time he opens his scrunchy little mouth another disgusting lie comes popping out.

Or it could be the fact that the Republican candidate is quite literally unable to generate a coherent thought without a script. Linguists have written about the near impossibility of transcribing the man when he speaks off the cuff. One classic Trump sentence is this one:

Look, having nuclear — my uncle was a great professor and scientist and engineer, Dr. John Trump at MIT; good genes, very good genes, okay, very smart, the Wharton School of Finance, very good, very smart — you know, if you’re a conservative Republican, if I were a liberal, if, like, okay, if I ran as a liberal Democrat, they would say I’m one of the smartest people anywhere in the world — it’s true! — but when you’re a conservative Republican they try — oh, do they do a number — that’s why I always start off: Went to Wharton, was a good student, went there, went there, did this, built a fortune — you know I have to give my like credentials all the time, because we’re a little disadvantaged — but you look at the nuclear deal, the thing that really bothers me — it would have been so easy, and it’s not as important as these lives are (nuclear is powerful; my uncle explained that to me many, many years ago, the power and that was 35 years ago; he would explain the power of what’s going to happen and he was right — who would have thought?), but when you look at what’s going on with the four prisoners — now it used to be three, now it’s four — but when it was three and even now, I would have said it’s all in the messenger; fellas, and it is fellas because, you know, they don’t, they haven’t figured that the women are smarter right now than the men, so, you know, it’s gonna take them about another 150 years — but the Persians are great negotiators, the Iranians are great negotiators, so, and they, they just killed, they just killed us.”

Say what now? Can you imagine this at a press conference?

There may be another reason why Trump is no longer speaking to the press on an unending basis. It may be that he is just paranoid enough to believe that the free press is in a conspiracy to defeat him.

He has whined and complained about everything from “unfair” reporters to rigged elections to explain his own considerable failings.

There are a few reasons why Donald Trump has stopped speaking in public without a script and a teleprompter. He’s afraid of the press, that’s for sure. He’s a blathering, incoherent fool when he’s left on his own. He’s a famous liar. And he isn’t afraid to reference his lust for young girls or the size of his own equipment.

Now someone just needs to take away his phone.
