Donald Trump SUCKS As A Businessman — He DEVASTATED Gary, Ind (VIDEO)

During this entire campaign, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has used his history as a businessman to try and convince people to vote for him. Some people may disagree that he has a great business acumen.

Ask the people of Gary, Indiana. They are witnesses of Trump’s corrupt business dealings. In 1993, Trump flew into the town and was looking to put a casino showboat on the Lake Michigan shoreline.

He promised to build a big, beautiful boat which would earn tens of millions per year for the city.

The city officials were wary of his promises because his first two bankruptcies were very recent. He didn’t give up, though. He went to the Indiana games board and promised $19 million would go to the city every year. He even said that he would hire minority citizens from the area.

Trump told them:

“When we put our name on something it’s more than just recognition. It’s very important to us so we’re looking for a long-term, very solid relationship.”

Both sides made a deal without cash up front. The local businesses were promised a share of the stock. Trump reneged on the deal once the casino license was approved. No one got the stock, and they didn’t get the amont of money that was promised.

One of the people involved, Buddy Yosha said:

“We felt cheated. He said he’d do one thing and then he changed. It’s like what he’s doing with every position. He changes in the middle of the stream.”

Richard Hatcher, mayor of Gary at the time, said:

“Trump reneged on both of those commitments. It simply did not happen.”

He helped in a 1996 lawsuit against Donald Trump. Trump didn’t do some of the things he promised he would do. He won the primary there in May, but the area is likely to stay Democrat against him.

Here is a former city attorney talking about this issue:
