Obama Is Worried After Watching Donald Trump’s Debate Performance (AUDIO)

It looks like the Republicans were right to fear last night’s presidential debate. Last week, we shared GOP policy expert Lanhee Chen’s thoughts with you. He told CNN’s Party People that Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump would not be able to fake his way through a 90-minute debate against his rival, Hillary Clinton.

And he was right. Clinton destroyed Trump on Monday night. She made him look weak, and that’s important because Trump supporters seem to believe he’s never frazzled. He’s always calm. Last night, his supporters discovered that’s not the case.

In fact, Trump’s comments and behavior were alarming, and it’s not just me saying that. You don’t have to agree with me, but maybe you should listen to President Barack Obama. He watched the debate from the White House Treaty Room, and for the most part, he enjoyed the battle.

But during a phone interview with On Air with Ryan Seacrest, Obama made it clear that Trump is not (and will never be) presidential material:

“[Trump] doesn’t have the preparation, the temperament or the core values of inclusion and making everybody have opportunity that would take our country forward.”

He also praised Clinton’s performance. He pointed out that she put in the work for this debate. She was prepared, she did her homework, and she supported her own statements with facts, which is something Trump has never been able to accomplish.

Most important, Obama admitted he’s concerned most for his daughters’ generation, and Trump falls short on the major issues:

“I get worried when I hear somebody like Donald Trump start saying, ‘Well, I don’t necessarily know whether Japan or Korea should be protected by us. Maybe they should get their own nuclear weapons. That shows somebody who doesn’t pay attention to these issues, and you don’t necessarily want close to the nuclear button.”

We are all worried. Hopefully that terrible performance last night turned a lot of people into FORMER Trump supporters.
