Millennial Voters Hold The Key To The White House (VIDEO)

This election looks to be coming down to the wire and the White House is up for grabs. If there is one thing I know that young people really hate, it is being told what to do. It appears that a lot of young people feel quite disillusioned with both of the candidates in this election. You are allowed to feel like that. Just like these people:

But don’t let that make you give up on democracy.

The responsibility of who will be the next president has somehow fallen on the ‘Millennial’s shoulders.’ First of all, you are allowed to do or not do whatever you want. It is also good to be informed and know what your choice will mean for the country. Here are your options for election day:

  1. Just don’t vote. Consequence: Your voice doesn’t get heard and you then have had no say in who becomes the leader of your country.
  2. Vote Hillary. Sure you might have been a Bernie die-hard and feel disappointed in having Hillary as candidate, but Bernie himself is urging you to back Hillary. His exact words to his supporters during the Democratic Convention were “this is the real world.” It is good to be an idealist and there are still things you can do to campaign for Bernie’s causes. The last thing Bernie would want is Trump in the White House and this is the best chance of stopping that, think about it!
  3. Vote Third Party. Consequence: This vote will not really count, except to take votes away from the other two. Can you imagine voting for Stein and getting Trump? Even though they couldn’t be further apart politically, that is what could easily happen.
If you want your vote to have an impact on who actually makes it to the White House, then this option is not for you.
  4. Vote Trump. Consequence: Disaster!  Trump has no experience, doesn’t think he has to pay taxes and insults almost everyone. He is a reality TV star who is simplistic, extreme, unpredictable, aggressive, mean and egotistical. The answer to terrorism is not racism. There is a reason that none of the living ex-presidents (both Republicans and Democrats) are endorsing a Trump presidency, they know he should not be there.

OK, Millennials, the choice is yours.

What kind of America do you want to live in?
