Trump Surrogate Resorts To Fat Jokes, Gets ANNIHILATED By CNN Panel (VIDEO)

Donald Trump surrogate, former Lieutenant Governor of South Carolina, and all-around jerk André Bauer appeared on Don Lemon’s CNN show to discuss the upcoming presidential debate. As is often the case when the Republican presidential nominee’s minions start talking on television, things got ugly.

Trump Surrogate: ‘I’d Probably Want To Bleachbit It Again’

The panel discussion began innocuously enough, with people from both sides talking in rather reasonable tones over reasonable issues. The Trump folks lamented that he is not treated as an equal to Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. The Clinton folks outlined exactly why he is, most definitely, NOT her equal.

When the discussion turned to the topic of falsehoods on the campaign trail, though, Trump surrogate André Bauer started to get pretty wound up.

After political commentator Maria Cardona called Trump the “biggest liar we have had as a presidential candidate probably in history,” host Don Lemon displayed the following graphic:

That’s when Bauer went off the rails. He started talking about her email servers, of course, and how some things were deleted because they were pictures of weddings and yoga pants. He could have stopped there, and he SHOULD have stopped there.

But, he didn’t.

Bauer went on to say:

“Of course, if I saw her in yoga pants, I’d probably want to Bleachbit it again.”

Did you have to go there, Mr. Bauer? You’re speaking on behalf of a campaign that is mired in sexism and misogyny, and you went there?

After the comment, you can hear the people on the panel voicing their discontent, with cries of “Whoa, André!” and “Oh, wow, André!” Lemon even tried to stop things to give Bauer a chance to apologize, saying:

“Are you sure you wanna say that?”

Lemon’s question fell on deaf ears, of course, and Bauer just kept talking.

Stop Body Shaming

Can we just please put an end to body shaming altogether? It’s never appropriate, period. It’s a tool for people with low self-esteem to make themselves feel better. Body shaming is not funny, and it’s something that the Trump campaign has used on many, many occasions. So much so, in fact, that the Clinton campaign released a powerful ad using his own words about women.
