Ted Cruz proved yesterday that he is a craven political hack who will say or do anything he thinks will advance his career. Granted, we already suspected as much about Teddy Boy, but to see him announce his support for Donald Trump despite the fact that Trump insulted Cruz’s wife and father over the course of the campaign for the GOP nomination proves without a doubt that Cruz has no backbone whatsoever.
Shortly after the news broke that Cruz would indeed be supporting Trump, whom Cruz had called “a pathological liar,” “a serial philanderer,” and “utterly amoral,” Twitter began laying the wood to Cruz:
