Kim Kardashian made recent headlines when she announced in Wonderland magazine that she might be voting for Republican nominee Donald Trump.
In the interview, she revealed that she’s now “on the fence” about her presidential pick, thanks to political conversations she’s had with Caitlyn Jenner.
The Evening Standard posted an excerpt from the interview, where she allegedly explained;
“At first I thought, ‘Oh my god, I’m so Hillary [Clinton],’ but I had a long political call with Caitlyn last night about why she’s voting Trump. I’m on the fence.”
Jenner is an outspoken Trump fan. Kardashian (up until now) has shown support for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

But she has met Trump before, and appeared on an episode of The Apprentice back in 2010. However, after the quote went viral, a rep for Wonderland magazine denied that the quotes came from their interview;
“It’s incorrect. Wonderland did not print that or publish that. The issue is on stands and that’s not in it.”
And it’s not. Regardless, the quote remains on the Evening Standard, and according to The Huffington Post, the quote is legitimate.
The Wonderland issue does touch on politics, but the topic is Kardashian’s husband, Kanye West, who announced last summer that he wanted to run for president in 2020.
If so, would she be prepared to be First Lady?
“Look at all the awful things they’re doing to Melania [Trump], putting up the naked photos [of her]… I’ll say to Kanye: ‘Babe, you know the kind of photos they’d put up of me!’ Haha.”
If West would indeed run for president, who would he run for?
“I don’t wanna put words in his mouth, but I’m pretty sure the Democrats. Maybe independent? I don’t know how serious he is about it. We’ll see…”
Well, according to an interview in Vanity Fair, West was very impressed by one Republican candidate in particular;
“As soon as I heard [Ben] Carson speak, I tried for three weeks to get on the phone with him. I was like this is the most brilliant guy.”
Time will tell if politics are next for Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, but for now we can only hope they’ll use their substantial influencing powers to promote #VoteBlue.
