WATCH: Crowd Cheers As Homophobic Slut-Shaming Pastor BUSTED For Assault

A student at the University of Arizona known for his slut-shaming and homophobic campus rants will be preaching from jail after assaulting a woman this week.

Known as “Brother Dean,” Dean Saxton has drawn attention for his aggressive “Christian” sermons he delivers all over the university’s campus, often wearing offensive tee-shirts to draw attention to himself.

He is especially famous for demeaning women and the LGBTQ community, earning the nicknames such as the “No Homo preacher” and the “slut-shaming pastor.”

On Wednesday Saxton’s hate was directed at the university’s LGBTQ community, and while in the middle of his ranting, he was approached by fellow student Mackenzie Brandt. Police reported that as soon as Brandt was close enough, Saxton kicked her in the chest. Sergeant Filbert Barrera of the campus police described the ferocity of the attack:

“She took a pretty good kick… There were shoe marks on her chest.”

Doesn’t really seem like a Christian reaction, does it?

Campus police promptly arrested Saxton for assault. As he was handcuffed and led to the police car, he kept his bible clasped in his hands. Public reaction was much more upbeat, though, with many bystanders cheering as the campus “preacher” was led away to the local county jail.

Saxton was promptly charged with misdemeanor assault and released on bond, provided he stay away from the victim. The University of Arizona responded to the incident by banning Saxton from its Tuscon campus for a year.

As for Mackenzie Brandt, she appears to be wearing her bruises as a badge of honor and hasn’t lost her sense of humor.

“Brother Dean thinks he’s so invincible but I just got him arrested and banned from campus so HA.”

A campus news clip interviewed students in the aftermath. Let’s just say there’s not much love for Brother Dean.
