On September 20, 375 concerned scientists, including famous physicist Stephen Hawking, came together on one important issue; Donald Trump would be disastrous for not just America, but the planet.
In an open letter signed by Hawking and 375 other scientists, including 30 Nobel laureates, comes a warning of the consequences of Trump acting on his misinformation about climate change.
Trump has said on multiple occasions that he doesn’t believe in climate change, even going so far as to say that it’s a hoax created by China.
Whether Trump wants to believe it or not, climate change is happening all around us, and what the world needs is the reassurance that America intends to help do something about it.
The concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese in order to make U.S. manufacturing non-competitive.

If Trump is elected President, he intends to take the United States out of the Paris Accord, which was an agreement reached by 195 nations at the United Nations Climate Change Conference in 2015.
In the open letter, the scientists refer to this move as a “Parexit” in reference to the U.K. leaving the European Union, colloquially known as the “Brexit.”
“It is of great concern that the Republican nominee for President has advocated U.S. withdrawal from the Paris Accord. A ‘Parexit’ would send a clear signal to the rest of the world: ‘The United States does not care about the global problems of human-caused climate change. You are on your own. Such a decision would make it far more difficult to develop effective global strategies for mitigating and adapting to climate change. The consequences of opting out of the global community would be severe and long-lasting — for our planet’s climate and for the international credibility of the United States.”
If Donald Trump is elected president, this is just one more way for him to run America’s credibility into the ground.
