The 5 Most Horrible RWNJ Terror Attacks The GOP Wants You To Forget (VIDEO)

If you watch Fox News for any length of time, you may hear mentions of the terms, “radical Islam” and “radical Islamic terrorism.” We all want to stop ISIS and save lives, but the right-wingers only acknowledge Islamic terrorism as terrorism. They seem to forget that Muslim terrorists are not the only terrorists in the world.

By definition, terrorism is:

“… The use of violent acts to frighten the people in an area as a way of trying to achieve a political goal.”

Here is a list of terror attacks that were not committed by Muslims:

1. Wisconsin Sikh Temple Massacre, 2012

On August 5, 2012, a white supremacist named Wade Michael Page attacked a Sikh Temple in Wisconsin. Attorney General, Eric Holder described it as:

“…an act of terrorism, an act of hatred.”

It’s good to hear him say that, so we can acknowledge that no every terrorist is Middle Eastern, or Muslim.

Unfortunately, the 9/11 attacks increased instances of violence against Muslims. Some people mistake Sikhs for Muslims. Sikhs wear beards and turbans, so racist rednecks will think that they are Muslims.

2. Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church shooting, 2008

On July 27, 2008, Jim David Adkisson walked into a Unitarian Church in Knoxville, Tennessee. He went in during a children’s play and shot people at random.

Two people were killed and seven people were injured. Adkisson said he was motivated by a hatred of liberals and gay people. Fox News reported it, but they didn’t give it the same airtime that they usually give to an Islamic attack.

3. The Centennial Olympic Park bombing, 1996

Eric Rudolph, praised by the cult called the Army Of God, set off a bomb in Atlanta in 1996 during the summer Olympics. It killed one spectator and injured 111 others. He also bombed Otherwise Lounge, the lesbian club, in 1997. Forgotten by many, just the way the GOP likes it.

4. Planned Parenthood Bombing, 1994

Planned Parenthood has been a big topic in this election. Many states are trying to defund it after some doctored videos came out. These videos falsely claimed that Planned Parenthood is selling body parts from aborted fetuses.

In 1994, there was a bombing at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Brookline, Massachusetts. John C. Salvi, a member of the Army of God and an anti-abortion activist shot and killed two receptionists, Shannon Lowney and Lee Ann Nichols. The Army of God holds him up as some kind of martyr.

5. Timothy McVeigh and the Oklahoma City bombing, 1995

Fox News really doesn’t like mentioning this one. It doesn’t fit in with their narrative that only Muslims attack people like this. Timothy McVeigh blew up a federal building in Oklahoma City. Before the 9/11 attacks, this was the worst terrorist attack on record.

Over 168 people were killed and 600 were injured. The Republicans will claim this one as a “red herring” that doesn’t fit in with their “Muslims are the only terrorists” rhetoric. McVeigh was motivated by an extreme hatred of the government.

This woman on Twitter responded to Representative Steve King about terrorists, and how many of them “look just like” he does.
