RWNJs AGHAST With HORROR: New Children’s Book Teaches Kids… GULP… REAL Science (VIDEO)

Finally! We have a children’s book to teach your little ones about evolution. Grandmother Fish teaches Charles Darwin’s theory of common descent. The story is told in a call and response format. Your child will be wiggling like a fish or mimicking the apes.

This excellent book tells our history and explains where we came from, and includes some tools to help your child understand evolution:

  • An elaborate illustration of the evolutionary tree of life,
  • Helpful science notes for parents, and
  • How to explain natural selection to a child

The School Library Journal gave this review of this revolutionary book via Macmillan:

This groundbreaking volume makes the complex theory of evolution accessible to young children. . . . a truly inclusive work. The words and illustrations work beautifully together, showcasing the abilities of our ancestors and asking readers and listeners if they can do these same actions. . . . Exemplary back matter includes a colorful, clearly labeled double-page diagram titled ‘Our Evolutionary Family Tree,’ which is excellent for close examination and discussion; examples of how to explain concepts of evolution to children; and suggestions for correcting common misunderstandings. VERDICT This selection can be revisited again and again as students refine their understanding of evolution. Highly recommended for homes, schools, and libraries.”

Right wing Christians and Creationists will hate this book. I won’t be surprised if they try to ban it. The same people that hate this are likely to have visited the Creation Museum in Kentucky, or want to.

Ken Ham and his band of RWNJ Young Earth Creationists own that museum, as well as the new Noah’s Ark park down there as well.

This is the same Creation Museum that brought a paleontologist to tears because of its absurd inaccuracies. The Ark Encounter Museum is so bad that Bill Nye accused the owner of brainwashing children. In fact, it is so bad that groups of atheists came out to protest when it first opened.

Here is a video about the book:
