Tucker Carlson’s Right Wing Rag Is P*SSED At Obama About Low Gas Prices (VIDEO)

In an amazing act of logical gymnastics, infamous right-winger Tucker Carlson and his conservative website have made some outrageous claims about gas prices and energy use in America.

Gas prices have remained low during the last few years, due to a number of factors. Increased Russian and North American production cut into the Middle Eastern monopoly on the production and sale of oil.

This caused OPEC (Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries), the collection of Middle Eastern countries who have controlled gas prices for much of the last half century, to change tactics.

They lowered oil prices to make their product more attractive, and that drove the price of gas down across the globe.

And somehow, this is disastrous for Obama, according to the Daily Caller.

A major point of emphasis for the Obama Administration (and many politicians before him) is the reduction of carbon-emitting products and investing in alternative energy. During his tenure, American (and global) commitment to combat climate change has moved further than ever before.

Last December, 195 countries entered into the Paris Agreement, a historical accord by many of the world’s leaders to reduce carbon emissions and provide support for those countries most directly and immediately impacted by climate change.

But somehow, because of certain things that are out of President Obama’s control, his environmental policy is failing?

Gas prices are controlled by the global market. If gas becomes cheaper, it should not change commitment to reducing carbon emissions or any other action to combat the effects of climate change on our own country, and countries around the world.

So no, this isn’t “scrambling.”

It is a renewal of the call to action that the Administration has been sounding throughout the beginning of the 21st century.

But yeah, let’s blame Obama and the liberals, even though it makes no sense. Conservatives like to blame everything on him anyway.

Here’s a video with a good explanation of the Paris agreement:
