If you have been looking for someone to compile a list of all of the vile, shocking, horrific, idiotic, and just plain crass things that Donald Trump (R) has said or done as a major party presidential nominee, then look no further.
Keith Olbermann returned to broadcasting on his new GQ web series called “The Closer,” and used his first episode as an opportunity to lower the boom on Trump. And frankly, it’s a sad state of affairs when all one has to do to lower the boom on someone, is simply list what they’ve actually done. With Trump there is no need to exaggerate. There is no point in making things up. The orange menace is a veritable factory of shameful, baseless pandering to the lowest common denominator of American culture.
He starts the segment by reminding Americans that every generation or two, a nutcase emerges from the dark reaches of American ugliness. The nutcase of our generation happens to be a “demonic messiah in Oompa Loopma’s clothing” named Donald Trump.
The entire seventeen-minute episode is worth every rational American’s attention, but here are a few of Olbmermann’s comments to get you started:
“The Emperor’s New Clothes quality to the Trump campaign has survived these 15 months because, as we react to each outrage, our shock and revulsion have been refracted like light through a prism.
But these outrages are not separate events, not even a pattern.
They are, simply, Donald Trump.”
He continues:
“Seen all at once, they and he are horrifying.
You must see them ‘all at once.

What follows is a 176 item list which leaves no doubt as to why Trump attracts the deplorables of America to his camp. I won’t list them all in this piece, but here are a few out of the gate that more than set the tone:
“The Republican party has actually nominated for president a man who attacked the Pope.
Who attacked John McCain for being captured by the North Vietnamese.
Who attacked Gold Star parents Khizr and Ghazala Khan and then juxtaposed their names with the phrase ‘Radical Islamic Terrorism.’
Who attacked Hillary Clinton as a ‘bigot.’ Who attacked her as ‘brainwashed.’ As ‘unhinged.’ As ‘a monster.’ As ‘the devil.’ As ‘the most corrupt candidate ever’—showing her face on piles of hundred-dollar bills and the Star of David.
Who attacked her as someone whom ‘Second Amendment people’ should do something about. As someone whose religion ‘we don’t know anything about’ – after he explained he had never asked God for forgiveness.”
This is must see and must read material for any truly patriotic American worried about what a Donald Trump presidency might do to our great nation.
