Obama’s Changing Approval Rating Could Affect The Clinton Campaign (VIDEO)

President Barack Obama’s approval rating is at its highest since July 2009. It is up to 58 percent, which is 15 points higher than it was during the 2014 elections.

The Washington Post reported:

“Amid Clinton and Trump’s struggles, the Post-ABC poll finds 58 percent of Americans overall approve of President Obama’s job performance, the highest since July 2009 and continuing the positive movement since December when he stood at 45 percent.”

Eighty percent of Republicans say that they think Obama did a bad job, yet the split is 53 percent to 34 percent. Me thinks the Republicans doth protest too much.

The presidential nominees are popular within their own parties, but the broader electorate doesn’t like them. We’ve had eight years of an outstanding, scandal-free presidency. He has expanded healthcare and really turned around the economy.

Obama’s rising approval rating could mean great news for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. Republicans keep saying that electing Clinton would be akin to a third term of Obama. We Democrats know that that situation would be awesome. And Taco Trucks on every corner – don’t forget that.

At the beginning of the year, Obama’s approval rating was around 40 percent with a disapproval rating of over 50 percent. Now, the numbers have turned around.

News-press.com reported:

“Obama got the economy through the latter stages of a terrifying financial crisis, rescued the auto industry in a way that made it more competitive than it had been in decades, took out Osama bin Laden, oversaw a long though uneven economic expansion, and presided over a 50% decline in the unemployment rate and a 10,000-point gain in the Dow Jones industrial average. He brought an expansion of health care that, while far from perfect, provided coverage to millions of uninsured people and had been a goal of presidents for decades. Just this last weekend, he formalized a plan long in the works to put the weight of both the U.S. and China behind combating climate change.”

All of these accomplishments just show how great Obama has been for our country. Hillary Clinton will be a great successor.
