Progressive Nomad: This Govt. Organization Has KILLED 1800 Innocent Americans…And Counting(VIDEO)

After an emotional and chaotic protest on Saturday that left burial grounds unearthed, several people suffering from dog attacks, and The Standing Rock Sioux Tribe devastated from losses, The Army Corp of Engineers, responsible for 1800 innocent deaths during Katrina, are backing the emergency restraining order filed Sunday against them.

Just days after the tribes had declared burial grounds and historical finds on a piece of land roughly twenty miles from where the DAPL workers were digging, the company dropped what they were doing and, early Saturday morning with security and attack dogs in tow, switched areas and began bulldozing these sacred areas.

Protesters, desperate to save their heritage, lands, and water, broke through the wire fence and forced the bulldozers back. As protestors chanted, NO weapons in hand, security began to pull up, and they formed a line in front of the rally, attack dogs at their sides.

Emotions erupted as security guards threw protestors to the ground and let loose their dogs who were seen growling with blood in their mouth and nostrils from biting the bystanders. The protesters bitten include a little girl, an elderly man, and a pregnant woman.

On Sunday Standing Rock applied for an emergency restraining order specifically against the Army Corp to stop the construction until the results were back from the temporary injunction filed two weeks ago. Judge James E. Boasberg, Federal District Court Judge, despite the federal holiday, issued a hearing for today at three in the same courtroom the injunction was heard weeks before.

The Army Corps of Engineers have a rocky past as far as bending the truth on the books to receive clearance for projects as well as the shoddy craftsmanship of projects leading to disasters like Hurricane Katrina flooding where 1800 people died due to the failed flood protection the Corp put into place. After several people were injured on Saturday the Corp responded to the restraining order by saying:

“Although this matter is outside the scope of this lawsuit, the Corps would not oppose a temporary restraining order on this basis in the interest of public safety.”

It’s interesting that the Army Corp supports this restraining order while they couldn’t build levees strong enough to restrain floodwaters that killed so many during Katrina. If their past craftsmanship and engineering skills are any sign of what we can expect from the DAPL, if it continues to be built, no restraining order in the world can keep away a severe oil spill.
